Annual club Christmas feast! Nothing has yet been formalised but I guess it will take the form of an American Supper evening. This meeting is traditionally attended by many members and their partners and is an informal chat among ourselves whilst munching away at whatever has been brought along. Bring yourself, a partner if you wish and enough food to feed yourself. This food will be added to the table and everyone helps themselves to anything and everything...... a fun evening to round of the year.
Venue: BAWA club, Filton, Bristol, UK

Speaker John Rundle will be giving a presentation on his 50 years of breeding. John has given the club many interesting talks over the years and I am sure this one will be as fascinating as all of the others.

Club meeting with the evening dedicated to a members evening. An opportunity for new and old members alike to raise questions about.....absolutely anything, with the aim of the other members being to resolve and advise using the vast wealth of knowledge of the group as a whole. This is an ideal evening for new members to come along and learn a little more about what the club members do best - fish keeping.
Venue: BAWA club, Filton, Bristol, UK
Time: 8pm start to 10pm approx
Club meeting with speaker Dick Mills discussing public aquariums around the world. This speaker usually attracts a good attendance within the club and non-members are, as usual, welcome. Dick has kindly offered to present this meeting after our planned speaker, John Rundle, had to postpone due to family health reasons and our substitute speaker, Brian Chittenden (planned speaker for September) was admitted to hospital for heart bypass surgery. Our best wishes are with these two for a speedy recovery.

Club meeting with speaker from Bristol Water discussing chemicals present in Bristol tap water and hopefully giving us some good answers as to why our phosphate levels are so high! Should be a heated and interesting meeting with lots to be learnt.
